Farrah La Ronde-Hutchison is a Dominica born, U.S.-based environmental scientist and filmmaker. Inspired by her son, who began acting at a young age, she turned to documentary filmmaking as a way to preserve and amplify the richness of her Caribbean heritage and culture.

Shabnam Nimi Divingele is a London and Germany based filmmaker and editor whose work spans fiction, documentary, and branded content. With her background in political science and mixed heritage, her storytelling explores identity, representation, & social impact.

Anna Dobos is a London based filmmaker and visual artist of American, Hungarian, & British heritage. She co-directed and served as DP for the award-
winning short documentary, Thank My Mother For My Hair, which received Best Drama & Best Doc at the 2022 Shiny Awards.

Tim Boggs is an acclaimed American sound engineer and director, renowned for his extensive contributions to film and television. Boggs’s expertise has been recognized with multiple award
nominations, including a nomination in 2021 for Outstanding Sound Editing.

Pearle Christian is one of the 10 women featured in the documentary and also serves as the film’s Cultural Consultant. Pearle served as Senior Cultural Officer in Dominica for over thirty years. Her life’s work has been preserving the island’s cultural identity through music & arts.

Eric is a multidisciplinary artist, cinematographer and computer engineer with a creative career spanning decades, shaping compelling visual experiences across film and emerging technology. His work is rooted in storytelling, crafting striking, emotionally resonant narratives that bridge art and innovation.

Delia Cuffy-Weekes is a respected cultural advocate and educator dedicated to preserving and promoting Dominican heritage. As Cultural Advisor and Creole Language Translator, she brings decades of experience in language preservation, community engagement and cultural policy.

Jenae Bell is a Dominican artist and visual storyteller whose work
celebrates the vibrant heritage, folklore, and daily life of the Caribbean. She brings her unique cultural lens and artistic precision to the visual identity of the film, shaping elements that reflect the heart of the island and its people.
